When to Submit to directories 1 OF 4
It cannot be said enough. Before you submit your website to the directories for listing, it has to be complete. That is, all the pages are already filled with content and all the links are already live. Don’t fret if the copy on your website is bland; as long as there is content and the links are all working, you will almost always get listed, even if your site is just one page
If your website is up and ready, search the section under the directory that is most relevant to your website. Edit and check your entries, and if you can’t find the category that is an exact match to yours, go find the closest to it. When you are done with the website and you’ve found the most relevant category, you only have to fill in the submission form and you are in that directory.
