RSS Feeds – RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and Rich Site Summary. The latter probably affords the best description as to what an RSS feed is. It is feed that presents a short summary of what is new with a certain website. It nay often is used in giving out headlines. When you avail of an RSS feed of your favorite and most frequented website for your blog or web page, you can easily check for updates on that site because it will be projected onto the RSS window.
In a nutshell – RSS feeds make checking up on new updates about a website and is as easy but more convenient than visiting a site manually. RSS feeds are indicated by the RSS icon – a small orange square with three distinct white marks.
In such a short while, we have seen the internet grow before our very eyes. It is no wonder that in a few years into the future, all businesses will move into the domain of the World Wide Web. These three things and a few others will undoubtedly grow in importance as the need for working on the World Wide Web also grows.
