So what’s new in the world of blogging? Survey results, new blogs coming up, worldwide blogging events, fresh tools and software are just few bits and pieces that make blog aficionados more and more excited every day.
USA Today released a report of the “bloggiest” cities in the U.S. in August of this year. Making the magic 5-list are Boston, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Washington and Portland. To decide which is the bloggiest, the overall number of place-based blog posts in a city’s metropolitan district was divided by the total population of that area. The figures are inclusive of the months of March and April. The rest of the list includes New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
Just in the nick of time. WordPress recently released its new theme called “Christmas Days”. The fresh theme was created for WordPress by Design Disease. It has already been tested on WordPress 2.3.1 with Opera, Firefox, IE6/7 and Safari.
