This Makeover contest, was created by Artifel to help women like me to bring back their confidence for themselves and improve their self esteem so they can move on. You will have to write a personal story and, optionally, one (1) photo taken within the last year. Submissions must convey, in 500 words or less, a current or upcoming life event, (e.g., marriage, divorce, career change, parenthood, grandparenthood, relocation, reaching an age milestone, etc.) and the event’s effect on the participant’s physical and emotional well being.

My entry essay is about raising my 2 kids as Adults and as a single mom! My kids never seem to realized that they are adults but at least one of them left for 5 years and is now back for at least a year now. She has cost me thousands for she had a drug habit. Now, she is back on recovery and my son has a girlfriend, i found a good man. It took a while to get on the first date because the kids took the phone and I seem to never was able to find it. Anyways, we are finally on the right track and I want to look good for him as I get my hair color, streak, perm and my nails done every 2 weeks. But this Makeover contest will help improve me even more. I do love my boyfriend and looking just right for him will make my day and his also. A new relationship at 52 is awesome!
