People are more willing to extend help when they see that it will be used for a good and charitable cause. Blogging have proven that even in unforeseen events it can still reach people to share important and critical information. There are groups that blog for the purpose of supporting a specific cause. They have registered members and generally share common interests, values and philosophies.
