The problem with blogs 2 OF 2

Tips and tricks to lessen threats and dangers in blogging:
Refrain form disclosing personal information such as name, addresses, contact details, photo and even location you are planning to visit. So much private information can stimulate somebody in tracking an individual. These may result to probable threats not only to the blogger but also his families and friends.
Be careful with your postings. Even if you have removed them somebody on the other end of the network might have syndicated or archived it. Universities, employers and other organizations may search the internet to determine somebody’s profile and history. Do not post to the internet anything you do not want anybody to read.
To parents, you can limit your children’s internet access by monitoring the sites they have visited. You could also put restriction on sites that they could only browse. There are also online communities, non-profit organizations and forums specifically dedicated to parents who want to protect their children from various internet hazards.
Take extra caution in posting articles that might be interpreted in some manner. These include humor, metaphor statements, jokes, etc. Not only it may get out of hand but it could also cause you something, maybe not today it could be some other time.

There are always two sides of a story. The same way that blogging has its own pros and cons. Keep in mind that everything you put in your blog is accessible to anyone at anytime. Know your responsibilities as a blogger and be responsible.
